"The Belands Christmas Tree"
Meet Tom & Kathy Beland of Clarendon Springs, Vermont.

Kathy graciously invited me to their home to see the tree all decorated.
I went there last evening and all I can say is, WOW!!!
This is the biggest Christmas tree I have ever seen INSIDE someones house in my life!
Kathy is a forester and saw this tree at a property she was at and asked about it for a Christmas tree. They told her to go ahead and take it.
They have been putting up huge trees in their house for about 15 years now.
This years tree measures 19 feet tall!!! It is 8 feet across at the bottom!!
Kathy says they "might downsize next year,....to 18 feet,...but probably not!"
This tree has 4,500 lights and over 1,000 ornaments! They use a 15 ft step ladder to decorate it.
They have Kathys fathers old Lionel train set up under the tree and their 2 grandchildren love playing with it. And, apparently their cat Mocha likes posing in front of it as you will see in the photos.
The tree is just awesome! They have what looks like a bunch of 3D glasses on the coffee table and when I put one of them in front of my lens, it made all of the lights look like stars, as you will see in one of the photos.

I am honored that they invited me to their home let me take photos of this awesome Christmas tree in their living room.
